What LifeTree can do for the Organisation

…This organisation had experienced phenomenal growth over a very short period of time. They had been quite literally running flat out – just to survive. This meant that many of what they perceived as ‘the extras’ went by the board. This had a number of impacts from staff feeling disengaged; to senior managers moving from crisis to crisis.
This resulted in customers needs being compromised and the leadership team was severely stretched across an ever widening sphere of operation.
The Board Chair was concerned about the long term ability of the organisation to continue with a ‘fire fighting’ paradigm, and he and the CEO agreed to approach LifeTree for support in how to develop the organisation.
What we did
This scenario called for LifeTree’s intervention at every level within the organisation.
The starting point was supporting and coaching the Chief Executive helping prioritise the key issues the organisation was facing. We also facilitated a series of Board Meetings.
We helped develop and run a series of staff workshops for the whole organisation and facilitated a conference for the organisation and its key suppliers, partners and customers.
We engaged in a programme of coaching and mentoring for a number of key individuals within the organisation. We worked with a number of teams across the organisation, helping bring clarity of focus, understanding of what was happening, how to manage the process while improving personal and organisational effectiveness.
Outcome of engaging LifeTree
SOME OF THE OUTCOMES WERE:
- ‘Outstanding’ Board meetings – feedback from the board and executive team that these meetings helped engage the board to a new level, gaining increased clarity on vision and values. Also allowed the executive team to ‘tap into’ the boards significant expertise.
- CEO’s leadership sharpened and improved, and his management skills also improved.
- Equipping managers to function more effectively by using a coaching / mentoring approach to tackling important issues and opportunities in ‘real time’
- Teams improved openness, focus on the task and quality of relationships.
- Greater connection to purpose and values though bespoke workshops co-designed with the client.
How we make a difference
