LifeTree Consultant wins award

Deborah Farley, one of the founder members of the LifeTree Organisation Development Consultancy, won a prestigious award at the Women Ahead annual award dinner on Friday 18th of November.  The event was held at the Apex City Quay Hotel and was attended by 300 local business people who were welcomed by a sparkling champagne reception.  The evening, a celebration for Women in Business, demonstrated the bond that has been built over the years by women in business in and around Tayside.  The success of the evening reflected the efforts of the committee through out the year in organising this event and other activities which occur to bring business women together.

The Supporter of Women's Business is awarded to a person whose work includes mentoring, advising or investing in a manner that has helped to support, drive or nurture a woman to achieve business success and added value.

After collecting her award Deborah said, "This is a great achievement for myself and LifeTree.  The categories I was nominated in truly reflect the scope of my work in LifeTree and the award for Supporter of Women's Business is a welcome recognition of an area of work that is close to my heart.  The competition in each category was of a very high standard, a clear indication of the depth of quality of business women working in Tayside."

The other Award categories were:  Rising Star, Shooting Star, Sunshine Award and Innovation.
